Razan al-Najjar (September 11th, 1996 - June 1st, 2018) was a Palestinian nurse, who worked as a volunteer at the Great Return March. She was shot by an Israeli sniper, while she was helping an injured protester. Razan was selfless and ready to risk her life for others. After she died, thousands mourned at her funeral.
In interviews, she talked about the Palestinian return to their homeland without any weapons and the extraordinary role of women and their abilities.
