Helen Keller

Helen Keller (June 27th, 1880 – June 1st, 1968) was a girl who was blind, deaf, and mute. Because of that, she did crash into things and touched the wrong people. It was a very scary, sad, and unfortunate life that she was living. However, she accomplished a lot especially for not being able to hear, talk, or see. She learned sign language and was also an activist for disabled people's rights. She was a founding member of the American Civil Liberties Union, an early supporter of the civil rights movement and opponent of lynchings and a supporter of legalizing birth control.
